Product Overview

BONDERITE® L-CA 193 (known as DAG 193) diecasting lubricant is a water-based soft paste insulator for aluminum permanent mold casting, providing controlled solidification of molten metal for high quality castings. L-CA 193 is recommended for large surface area castings.

Applications

BONDERITE® L-CA 193 can be spray applied for uniform coating but can also be brush applied.  Heat mold surfaces to at least 177°-204°C (350°F-400°F) for quick evaporation of the carrier. Stir the product occasionally during use to prevent settling.

BONDERITE® L-GP PRODAG is a complimentary product often used in conjunction with BONDERITE® L-CA 193.  In many cases, this water based graphite dispersion is used as an overspray to achieve good release and surface finish.
