Product Overview

BONDERITE® L-FG RD 5 (also known as Acheson RD-5) is a robust lubricant solution for a wide range of metalworking operations, including the hot forging of ferrous metals.  BONDERITE® L-FG RD 5 is a water-based lubricant with graphite particles for superior lubricity and excellent surface protection from heavy pressures and loads.

Applications

BONDERITE® L-FG RD 5 is supplied as a concentrate that can be diluted with water from your facility. Prior to dilution, agitation should be applied to the concentrate to ensure lubricant uniformity.  Recommended starting dilutions should be 1:5 (BONDERITE® to water) but can be tailored depending on performance and application requirements.
