Product Overview

BONDERITE® L-FM TI-KOTE-L is an easy-to-use liquid additive for complete conversion coating processes on titanium metal surfaces.  BONDERITE® L-FM TI-KOTE-L deposits a chemically adherent coating to titanium regardless of alloy or finish.  Once applied, the coating deposited by BONDERITE® L-FM TI-KOTE-L greatly reduces the friction experienced in drawing operations on the die and workpiece surface. 

Applications

BONDERITE® L-FM TI-KOTE-L is completely water soluble and can be diluted in cold or room temperature water. Recommended bath concentration starting points are listed below:
 
Bath Preparation per 100 Gallons
BONDERITE® L-FM TI-KOTE-L: 156 – 256 pounds (25 – 41 oz/gal)
BONDERITE® M-AD 40 (Primer 40): 31 – 51 pounds
 
Operation and Control Specifications
Concentration: 20 – 30% by weight
Time: 4 to 8 minutes
Temperature Range: 60°F to 90°F (16°C to 32°C)
